WHY THE NEED FOR RAD?
Why even become a disciple, someone chosen to go to many nations spreading the GOOD NEWS? Our culture is set up for busyness, success, fame, fortune, independence, and status—a life completely separate from God. 1 John 2:15 says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” By getting tangled up in the ways of world there is no place for God. But, man, is that easy to do or what? We have all fallen victim to living by our world’s standards. Yet Jesus is to be the one and only priority in our life. Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters; either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”
RAD takes you away from the distractions and the ways of the world (and into the beautiful mountains He created) so that you can turn your heart’s focus back to God. RAD helps to prepare and equip you for a life of godliness and holiness. In nine months you will receive training for practically every aspect of your Christian life.
There is a higher calling on your life, given to you directly from our Lord Jesus Christ. He went to the cross and rose again for you. He is desperately calling you to fulfill your purpose, and here at RAD you can learn what it looks like and how to live it out all for His glory. Is there any other better reason why someone should choose RAD?
