Tuesday morning, the RAD team set out for the next two weeks of our road-trip, and this time…we travel in style! The excitement of our upcoming adventure finally began to hit us as we cleaned out our 34-foot R.V. and began to move all of our stuff in. 34 feet of living space may not seem like a lot for 5 people, but compared to the little camper Kara and I have been sharing, this place was pretty spacious! And so we set out. Eventually we will make our way up to New York, but in the mean time, we are enjoying our trip.
First stop, WASHINGTON D.C.! Thursday and Friday were spent in our nations capitol admiring the sites, sounds, buildings, and life of the D.C. area. Suzanne, the daughter of a man we met in Mississippi, gave us a private tour of the capitol building. She walked us through some of the nations most famous and most beautiful rooms. Many were ornately adorned in gold, statues, and paintings of massive proportion.
Putting site seeing aside, Friday was devoted fully to the will of our Heavenly Father. Before taking the metro into the city, our group prayed about what the Lord would have us do. Defying all time frames that we ourselves had placed and resources available to us, the Lord asked us to pray over the Washington Monument. Please join with us in praying blessings over our nation, our leaders, the next generation of leaders, and for REVOLUTION within the United States of America! God is doing amazing things. He is calling for a small spark to turn into a wild, untamable fire. He is calling Christians to stand up and take action. He is calling us to obey, no matter what the cost.
Please pray with me in the following areas:
