RAD Students: Yvettes Update 1

Wow where to start. So I finally made it to RAD. We’re only on our sixth day and it feels like it’s been months. There are five students this year, Wesley from Jacksonville. Fl, Matthew as well is from Jacksonville, Fl. Katie from Rockford Il, and Josh from Hartley, Iowa.

Here’s a small run down of what a day in RAD looks like so far. We wake around 6a.m. to start the day with some exercising. After a nice work out, (out side mind you which is amazing cause at that time of the morning it’s so fresh and cool outside I can actually stand to be out there). We proceed the day with some alone Jesus time. Nothing like a good ole devotion mean wile the sun is rising. After devos we hit the day with some awesome breakfast. After breakfast for the most part we get some hands on training. And finish the day with dinner and sometimes even more training.

God is doing some great things in my life already. I believe what it all comes down to is willingness. God is showing me that being willing to be vulnerable with the team can get me places. O.K. so the other night I had a deep one-on-one with my director Rob about some areas in my life that need work. It was so hard to do but I do know that God got the glory. The Holy Spirit worked through Rob and he was able to read me like an open book. But see, if I hadn’t been willing it would never have happened.

This is where you all come in. I need your prayers. Please pray that God will continue to have His way in me and be ruler over my life. Also that I would have an absolute willing heart. Please keep my team in your prayers because as we all know the satan is ridiculous and he’ll do whatever he can to try and destroy the work of God. Thanks to all who have sown into me financially. However, I still have a need. Tuition for RAD is $6000 and I’ve been able to support raise $150 of the $6000. Please pray and consider sowing into my life.
