Let me just go ahead and talk about how awesome our Dad is for a moment here. Just yesterday I had this awesome experience with the Father. Our team was at this place called Niyélo. It’s an adventure based growing and learning from activities kinda place. We did this one activity and after it we debriefed it. For me it was deeper than just getting the entire team to the other side of the tight rope. Jamie (the staff member out at Niyélo) had called me a “sweet heart.” At the time it didn’t cross my mind about what she had called me. Then she asked me if it was o.k that she called me that. At first it wasn’t because it’s hard for me to receive and hear love and endearment from people. So I broke down and just talked about how God is really just showing me who I am and that He calls me beautiful and really just being o.k with being beautiful. As I was talking about it, I looked up in the sky and there was a rainbow. It came out right as I was talking about how He’s made me beautiful and He sent that rainbow as a promise saying “hey beautiful baby you are beautiful and I promise you that it’s true.” So that totally rocked me. About two minutes later the rainbow was gone so I know that it was especially just for me.
